We at Triangle Homeworks are so blessed to have been introduced to the Bender family of Fuquay Varina. This wonderful family consists of parents Jim and Lyn and six children: Asa age 19 Micah, age 18, Leah, age 17, Levi, age 15, Elias, age 13, and Jared, age 11. Three girls and three boys who love their parents and are doing so much to run the family landscaping business while dad is unable to work.
The Bender home was built in 1923 and has had little in the way of improvements since then. It was approximately 1300 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom...for 8 people! The Benders have lived in this home for 17 years.
The family has been very active in the community with Jim being a well respected soccer coach for many years. His children are still active in the soccer community. Health permitting, Jim is still as active as he can be with the league.
The Benders are members of Triangle Community Church. Their church has been very much involved in assisting the family since Jim's illness. We are blessed to have them working with Triangle Homeworks on this project.

On September 6, 2005 at 9:00am, we tore down the Bender home!! It was exiting, emotional, exhilarating and really dusty! The family was on hand as were so many fine members of the community that have donated time and services to this project.
On Thanksgiving Day, we will move the family into their new home of approximately 3000 square feet, 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. They will finally have a dining room and family room large enough to accommodate all of them at once. What a blessing that will be.
Thank you Bender family for allowing Triangle Homeworks be a part of this extreme makeover.
